What is the difference?
My name is Jesse Zuckerman, and I'm the head sharpener at Razor Sharp AZ. I've had a lifelong passion for knives and have over 18 years of experience sharpening them. I'm proficient in freehand and guided sharpening (both powered and unpowered), but my preferred method is wet grinding or water-cooled sharpening. The water cooling prevents the blade from overheating, ensuring the steel retains its temper, and the edge stays sharper for longer!
At Razor Sharp AZ, we use cutting-edge abrasives like CBN, diamond, and state-of-the-art resin-bonded wheels. We finish with our homemade diamond spray. Every knife we sharpen includes a felt lined protective sleeve at no charge, ensuring your knife is protected, and you are also safe on the ride home.
We utilize laser goniometers and BESS sharpness testers to deliver an unparalleled modern sharpening experience. This innovative approach to an age-old craft sets us apart from the competition.
