Hello! My name is Jesse, and I am the head sharpener at Razor Sharp AZ. I have always had a passion for knives and have been sharpening them for over 15 years. I am proficient in free hand and belt sharpening. My preferred method utilizes a water cooled machine made in Sweden. Water cooled grinding allows sharpening without risk of overheating the blade (steel stays in contact with cool water). Water keeps the edge cool and keeps your knife temper intact. What this means is that our edges stay sharper, longer!

At Razor Sharp AZ we utilize cutting edge abrasives like CBN and diamond emulsions along with state of the art equipment like laser goniometers. This new approach to an age old craft is what makes Razor Sharp AZ a cut above the rest!

Humans, unlike other animals, lack sharp teeth or claws, so we need sharp objects to assist us in our daily life. You may not think a knife is necessary, but I challenge you to carry a small pocket knife for one week or two and you will be surprised at just how often you use it.
